What is a Van?

Within the freight industry, a van can refer to a type of commercial truck, commonly known as a dry van or box truck, that is fully enclosed and designed to transport goods and cargo in a protected and secure environment. 

It can also refer to what most people think of as vans, but one that has been modified or manufactured specifically for use in freight and cargo transportation. Some common models used in the freight industry include the Chevrolet Express and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. 

Vans of all kinds are among the most prevalent and versatile vehicles used for freight  shipping, serving various industries and transporting a wide range of goods throughout the country.
