What is Redelivery?

Redelivery is usually one of the most expensive truckload accessorial charges to receive on your invoice, so it’s best to avoid it at all costs. It means that the same job must be done all over again and the carrier misses out on further income.

Depending on the shipping details agreed on beforehand, this charge will be placed with either the receiver or the sender.

Thanks to advances track and trace systems that use GPS and smartphone technology to provide position and ETA updates, these charges are now more easily avoided.
