What are Pup Trailers?

Pup trailers are used to increase overall capacity without sacrificing the truck’s ability to maneuver on the road. A semi-truck can typically pull between two and three pup trailers at once. One of the main distinct advantages of pup trailers is that they reduce the carbon footprint of commercial transport vehicles on the road today.

Pup trailers allow carriers to add anywhere from 9 to 25 feet of additional cargo space per load, depending on the configuration and size of the pup trailers used.
