What are Domestic Incoterms?

Domestic Incoterms® are a set of standardized terms to define responsibilities between buyers and sellers in domestic freight shipping.

Incoterms® were created by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), a global trade business organization. Standard Incoterms® define international trade rules.

In domestic shipping, the most common Incoterms® are:

  • Delivery Duty Paid (DDP)
  • Free Carrier (FCA)
  • Free On Board (FOB)
  • Delivered at Place (DAP)
