R+L Global Logistics’ stable of partners know these various routes so well, they could drive them with their eyes closed. Although they wouldn’t, because that’d be irresponsible and kind of dangerous.
If you’re going from eastern Pennsylvania out of cities such as Philadelphia, Harrisburg, Reading, Scranton, Allentown or Wilkes-Barre to eastern Florida, the fastest and most efficient way is right down I-95, which can access Jacksonville, Orlando (after a short detour on I-4), Fort Lauderdale and the entire Miami metropolitan area of 6.1 million people with ease.
If you’re going to western Florida from eastern Pennsylvania, you’d still take I-95 into Jacksonville before using U.S. 301 to hook up with I-75 to travel to Tampa, Sarasota and Fort Myers.
Reaching the Panhandle from eastern Pennsylvania will take you down I-95 into Jacksonville before jumping on I-10 west to travel to Tallahassee. Traveling to Pensacola, though, would be an I-95 to I-85 to I-65 endeavor.
Coming out of western Pennsylvania from cities like Pittsburgh, Altoona or Erie will be a different route depending on which part of Florida you go to. If you’re heading to the Panhandle, you can either use the I-79 and I-65 route, or work your way south and make most of the trip on I-65.
The same geographic area out of Pennsylvania to the west coast of Florida will see most of the route drive on I-77 to I-95 then over to I-75 for the final portion. Getting to the east coast of Florida is basically the same instead it is just I-77 to I-95.
Regardless of the roads taken, R+L Global Logistics will make sure your prized products reach Florida in pristine condition. Pairing with us to handle your refrigerated shipping
