What is Carrier Onboarding?

Carrier onboarding is a process to prepare carriers to move freight for a shipper's business. Shippers provide carriers with their standard operating procedures (SOPs) to digitally exchange supply chain data, like Bills of Lading (BoL), W-9 forms, and freight shipping requirements.
